This is a testimony of a young lady who recently came to us for help. Our Father God really met her at her need and helped her towards the road to complete emotional wellness!
A Song about me
Again, I find myself at the foot of this mountain that I’ve circled so many times before.
What a failure I am, what a fool for expecting I might reach a higher score.
A stranger to myself, my hands destroying everything I touch
like I’m sitting on the outside while everything burns as I hopelessly sit and watch.
Then a familiar soft Breeze whispers, the same Breath that breathes the stars
“Take a walk with Me to the top of this mountain, so I can show you who you are.”
Uncertain of myself, not knowing if I’ll survive the climb…
“Stop doubting My child” I hear God say, “Take one step at a time.”
With every step, the mountain steeper, but strangely I feel the climb get light.
Although I feel my body get weaker, my urge is stronger to win this fight.
As I look up, there’s no more mountain. All I see is His Face.
I fall at His Feet so deeply humbled by His freely gifted Grace.
I find myself staring at my hands, destruction and bruises has faded.
“You see,” I hear my Creator say, “you are fearfully and wonderfully made.”
God gave me His Eyes to see myself for who I am, what He created me to be
And for the first time I stood on the top of this mountain, knowing I am free.
I am strong
I am loved
I am good enough
Uniquely woven together by my Master’s Hand,
the same Hand that parted water from land
I am accepted
I am perfect
My Jesus gave His life for me, because I am worth it.
I am in Him, and He is in me
Moulding me into my destiny.
I am now a pleaser of God, no longer of man.
All fear replaced by the knowing that I can.
I take off my mask and lay it down,
my God replaces it with a royal crown.
My eyes have been opened, I can finally see.
I scream from the top of this mountain…
“Get ready, this is me!”
